my style and approach
I want to come into your home (or wherever holds meaning to you) and live alongside your family for a few hours. My approach isn’t purely documentary; I’ll direct you here and there. My direction will always be an extension of what’s already taking place. I want it to feel more like inviting an old friend to witness your life.
We’ll spend two to three hours together, leaving space for connection, creativity, and the kind of moments that can’t be forced. I promise I won’t have my camera in your face for three hours straight; I know when to step back. My goal is for everything to feel natural and easy. Never forced or rushed.

I believe...
After your session, we will meet at your home for an in-person photo reveal. The reveal allows you to view and select your favorite photos as a family, without distractions or notifications getting in the way. We will view your photos together on a larger screen. This is also where we can design and order your heirloom album or any wall-art you want to purchase. You will be able to view and hold albums and materials in your own hands. It's a fun experience for everyone.
2) We'll hop on the phone for a genuine conversation. We can dream over your session and answer eachother's questions.
1) Fill out the contact form on my contact page. I will respond to your inquiry within 48 business hours to schedule a phone call.
The Process...
4) We plan your session. Bouncing creative ideas back and forth. I'll offer styling and activity guidance as needed. Think of it more like planning a great day for your family.
5) I'll photograph your family existing together. Directing when needed and stepping back when the moment calls for it.
6) Within thirty days of your session I'll come to your house, you'll get to see a slideshow of the photos on a big screen. You'll select your favorites and design your heirloom album if your package includes one.
3) You'll pay a 40% retainer and sign your contract to book your session. The remaining 60% will be due 10 days before your session.

These collections are built to be a foundation for us to create a custom-session for you. This way your photos are personal. They all include photography for up to three hours. I don’t believe in cramming your story into a tiny box. I want to leave room to breathe and create with you.
I also believe that your photos are meant to be held in your hands, so I have tried to make it as easy as possible for you to book a collection that includes an album.
