Lauren told me they’ve been soaking up this season, knowing Quinn will be their last baby. She wanted to preserve the beautiful chaos of boyhood and the ever-changing rhythm of babyhood she’s right in the middle of.

When I asked about her favorite time of day, she shared how much she loves their evening ritual, spent in the backyard, tending to their chickens and swimming in the pool. Even in November (because, Texas). They bought this home mostly for that backyard and spend as much time out there as they possibly can. And after seeing it myself, I completely understand why.
