Yes, you still receive portraits from your wedding day. This takes up maybe 10% of the overall day though. I work on getting to know you throughout the planning process and seeing how the two of you naturally interact on your wedding day. So I can give you space to be yourselves when I take your portraits. You already know how to hug, how to hold hands and how to make each other feel safe. I play off of that and photograph the two of you in a way that you will always look back and see as familiar. It is comfortable and natural. Something that you will be even more grateful for when you receive your images.

HOW TO HIRE ME
After you fill out my form I will be in contact within 48 business hours, from there I will send next steps as well as a link to schedule a phone call where we can get to know each other and decide if we are the right fit.
If you are ready to move forward after the phone call I’ll just need your date, wedding location and package you have selected in order to send you a contract.
You will pay a 40% retainer and sign a contract to be officially booked. Your final payment will be due thirty days before your wedding. Everything is done online.
The only way to genuinely preserve your photos is through prints and albums. I’ve teamed up with one of the highest quality album companies on the market to bring you a fine art album unlike any other. One that will stand the test of time, feel luxurious in your hands and offer an experience your digital photos will never compare to.
I am a huge believer in direct human experience. We spend so much time behind screens rather than physically immersed in any kind of experience. An album allows you to get away from screens and experience your memories in a tangible way. It will outlive you and I, any usb or hard drive and give you a chance to spend quality time with your loved ones over and over again.

An engagement session is a way for you to document the short moment in time that you will be engaged. It is a unique season that passes so quickly and deserves to be remembered.
The engagement session is also a way for us to meet in person and for me to spend time photographing you before your actual wedding day. This helps so we can get to know eachother and I already get to see how you two interact before your wedding day ever starts. It helps you feel much more comfortable when I show up on the day of your wedding and makes photographing you truthfully that much easier.
I always encourage couples to treat their engagement session like a fun date, make an experience out of it, spend some quality time together and leave the session with some new favorite memories. I will help with planning and preparation so you get to have a fun and laid-back engagement session experience.

Hiring a second photographer means getting even more photos of the people you love as well as the moments in-between. It adds so much more to your overall wedding story. A second photographer will always be where I am not, so you get moments captured that I would have otherwise missed and unique angles and perspectives that help your entire story come to life. It is such a valuable asset to include on your wedding day.

I always wanted to be that person that asked the right questions and learned more about a person’s story, being more of an introvert that was a challenge, but I found that my camera is the tool I needed. FAQ's
In the case of an emergency where I cannot be there for a wedding you've booked me for I will send an associate shooter pre-approved by you in my place and I will edit the photos.
In the case that you contact me and I am already booked on your date I can refer you to other photographers or we can work on a different date!
What Happens If You Can’t Be At Our Wedding?
If you cancel your date the 40% retainer will be non-refundable.
If you reschedule your date and I am not already booked on the new date then your retainer will transfer to the new date and there may be a rescheduling fee.
If you reschedule for a date that I have another booking on then I will try to send an associate photographer in my place. If an associate can't be found then your 40% retainer will be non-refundable and the contract will be cancelled.
What If We Cancel/Resched Our Date?
I deliver fully edited images, most of my editing is color tones, cropping and straightening out images. I do use photoshop to remove distracting objects but I do not photoshop scars, change the shape of bodies or drastically change the way people look. You are beautiful and I am here to document your unique beauty.
If there's a wardrobe malfunction, you have lipstick on your teeth or something un-natural like that then yes I will try to photoshop it out.
Will You Photoshop Us?
Unfortunately we can't control the weather but we can definitely control how prepared we are for it. My workflow and planning process will help you prepare for any kind of weather your specific location and season may encounter.
I love shooting rain or shine! Sometimes rainy weather makes for the best scenery. But we do work together to create a plan b, otherwise known as a "rain plan", in the case of dangerous weather.
What Happens If The Weather Is Bad?
Wear whatever makes you feel like YOU! Which I know can be an annoying answer so don't worry I got you. After you book I will send over outfit inspiration boards that match your specific shoot as well as some tips and tricks that I have learned along the way to make sure you look and feel great!
