Hi hello! My name's Nikole, I'm a photographer, plant enthusiast, adventurer and amateur kayaker dwelling in Austin Texas. I love the sound of flowing rivers and the way my clothes smell after sitting by a campfire. I value deeper human connection and my love language is quality time.
I always wanted to be that person who asked the right questions and learned more about people's stories. As an introvert that was super tricky for me but when I began photographing people I learned that my camera was the tool that I needed. I love that photography allows me to not only learn about other's stories but it gives me the ability to help people craft unforgettable experiences where they get to spend quality time together and make a new favorite memory. And I have the honor to come along to document and preserve it all.
Anyone could pose you in a random field in some outfits you'll probably never wear again. But not many will take the time to get to know you, see you and truly serve you. That's why I am here.

What's included;
An adventure session is all about the experience! Book a camping trip to that park you’ve had on your bucket list or plan a kayaking trip down your fave Texas river. I’ll help you plan your perfect adventure, make sure you have everything you need to have an unforgettable experience then come along and document it all so you can re-live one of your favorite memories for years to come! Pass the photos down through generations so your adventures can live on far beyond you and I. An adventure session is not a full day photoshoot, yes we will be taking photos and I’ll probably have some intentional moments of ‘posing’, but I will be more like a fly on the wall for the majority of the experience, documenting moments as they naturally unfold.
- Hourly coverage and location options vary depending on your adventure. Starting at 4 hours of coverage for two locations.
- Location scouting! One of the first things I'll do is send a questionnaire to get to know you and what kind of adventure you're hoping to have! Then I create a custom location guide full of photos, descriptions and all kinds of helpful info for you to select your location from.
- Exclusive what to wear guide. I know planning outfits for a photo session may be overwhelming, this guide takes all the unknown and stress out of outfit planning! I'll be here to make specific recommendations based on your location and adventure as well.
- Custom gear + packing lists. Part of having an epic adventure is planning ahead and preparing! I'll make sure you have everything you need for your adventure (:
- An online gallery for downloading, sharing and ordering prints
- Album + print design consultation. Don't let your images live and die in your online gallery, I will happily design an album or have a consultation to communicate prints and other products!!

What's included;
I believe in the value of spending quality time with the people you love. I know how quickly life changes, children grow and relationships shift. I want you to be able to document life as it is in this current season. So you can freeze time, make a new memory and never forget how precious these moments are.
A portrait session is still all about your experience. I want you to be able to be fully present with your loved ones and feel comfortable being yourselves. I will work to get to know you, your story and the chapter you are wanting documented. This way I can honestly photograph and serve you. Forget perfection or stiff poses in the middle of a random field. Think golden evening light pouring through your kitchen and bubbles foaming from the sink, muddy feet running through your yard or splashing in your favorite river together.
Think about how you find connection or how important your favorite memories are to you. Those are the moments I want your photo sessions to consist of and everything I do leading up to your session ensures they can take place.

I could take the most beautiful photos in the world for you but if you weren't having a good time when I took them they wouldn't matter. You wouldn't want to take them out on rainy Sundays or print and hang them on your wall. I believe that photos and memories are two in the same, I want your photos to take you back to your own memories. Not something posed or copied off of Pinterest. Something that is YOURS and holds the most value to you.

FAQ's
In the case of an emergency where I cannot be there for a wedding you've booked me for I will send an associate shooter pre-approved by you in my place and I will edit the photos.
In the case that you contact me and I am already booked on your date I can refer you to other photographers or we can work on a different date!
What Happens If You Can’t Be At Our Wedding?
If you cancel your date the 40% retainer will be non-refundable.
If you reschedule your date and I am not already booked on the new date then your retainer will transfer to the new date and there may be a rescheduling fee.
If you reschedule for a date that I have another booking on then I will try to send an associate photographer in my place. If an associate can't be found then your 40% retainer will be non-refundable and the contract will be cancelled.
What If We Cancel/Resched Our Date?
I deliver fully edited images, most of my editing is color tones, cropping and straightening out images. I do use photoshop to remove distracting objects but I do not photoshop scars, change the shape of bodies or drastically change the way people look. You are beautiful and I am here to document your unique beauty.
If there's a wardrobe malfunction, you have lipstick on your teeth or something un-natural like that then yes I will try to photoshop it out.
Will You Photoshop Us?
Unfortunately we can't control the weather but we can definitely control how prepared we are for it. My workflow and planning process will help you prepare for any kind of weather your specific location and season may encounter.
I love shooting rain or shine! Sometimes rainy weather makes for the best scenery. But we do work together to create a plan b, otherwise known as a "rain plan", in the case of dangerous weather.
What Happens If The Weather Is Bad?
Wear whatever makes you feel like YOU! Which I know can be an annoying answer so don't worry I got you. After you book I will send over outfit inspiration boards that match your specific shoot as well as some tips and tricks that I have learned along the way to make sure you look and feel great!
